Fees
Fees
Fees for sessions and consultation vary depending on the service. Please see our Services page for more information, including Medicare rebates for clinical psychology services.
As a standard part of your care, there is no additional charge for communications with your GP or referrer, short emails or phone calls (less than ten minutes) and the scoring and interpretation of standard clinical measures.
Some services such as liaison with third parties, including letters to employers, are considered additional and non-standard services and charged per hour or part thereof.
Specific assessments are charged at the standard hourly rate. This includes the time taken for a clinical or other assessment, the administration, scoring and interpretation of psychological tests or measures, report writing and any liaison regarding the assessment or results.
Payment
Payment for sessions are made on the day of your appointment. You can enter your credit or debit card details when completing your client registration details, and your card will be charged following your appointment each time. We also accept cash. Direct deposit payments are possible and accepted by prior arrangement.
Third Party Payments
If a third party is responsible for payment of your account, please include these details on your client registration form so we can direct invoices and receipts to the appropriate person.
In situations where a third party is responsible for your account, we will liaise with them for prior approval of sessions. Where the third party fails to pay an invoice, payment will be redirected to the client for settlement of the account.
Cancellation Fees
We understand that life can be unpredictable, but late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) or missed appointments impact more than just our schedule. These missed sessions could have been offered to other clients in need of support. To respect everyone’s time and ensure we can continue to provide high-quality services, we must charge a fee for late cancellations or no-shows. This policy helps us maintain fairness and access for all clients while honouring the time and preparation that goes into each session.
The following fees apply:
· Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: charged at the full fee. (For instance, if your appointment is at 9:00am on Thursday and you cancel at 9.30am on Wednesday, this is considered within the 24-hour window and counted as a late cancellation.)
· Missed appointments or ‘no-shows’: charged at the full fee.
The client is responsible for the payment of these fees.
We provide regular SMS reminders of your appointment to ensure it’s not missed, and you have enough time to reschedule if needed.
